Ardent-Images is the website for the photographic work of Becky Randall. All those who have come into contact with Becky either as a client, model, colleague or purchaser of her work would agree, she is an inspired and professional young woman. Most go on to become her friend or at the very least stay in contact with her, her enthusiasm for photography and people is infectious!

Becky is an accomplished photographer, not just artistically but also technically. She is proficient with both conventional film and digital imagery. Through these media Becky has created her own style.She has drawn inspiration from the works of painters such as Rembrandt, who used lighting to create atmosphere. Becky has also been inspired by the work and styles of Julia Margaret Cameron, Jan Saudek, China Hamilton and Craig Morey. The influences may be spotted within Becky's pictures although they have become more subtle as her work becomes more individual.

Although Becky takes her responsibilities to her work and subjects seriously she rarely takes herself seriously. In her limited spare time she can be found hanging around in bars waiting for a chance to grab a microphone and belt out ACDC or The Darkness. Or she may be found in leathers at the local bike club leaning against her Yamaha Dragstar discussing (yes you've guessed it) photography. She has certainly come a long way since vowing never to touch a sewing machine again!

Becky treats all of her subjects with the same enthusiasm. She can be shooting some of the most beautiful models in the country one day and some of the most beautiful motorcycles the following day! Every subject is a new challenge which Becky embraces with enthusiasm and inspiration, the end result is always a work of art.
